Sacred Heart Parish opened for Mass over 150 years ago in 1874 in the heart of the city of Springfield.  In 1896, the present grand church was dedicated for worship and has been a sacred place of spiritual comfort ever since.  As co-pastors, we are grateful to all of our parishioners, friends and visitors who continue to make this parish their spiritual home.  To others who have not worshipped here before, please review the pages of our website to begin to get acquainted and know of our prayerful hospitality.  At Sacred Heart Church, we not only sing "All Are Welcome," we truly believe it.
